NEX-TECH GRANDSTAND ENTERTAINMENT

Select concert tickets are on sale NOW and may be purchased online, or by stopping by the Kansas State Fair Ticket Office at 2000 N. Poplar, Hutchinson, Kansas.

Ticket Office Hours - Beginning May 5, Mon-Fri, 9am-4:30pm

• Everyone, 2 years and older, requires a ticket for the concert; no exceptions. Younger children may sit on a parent’s lap but not in a seat as there will usually not be an empty seat. The baby carrier / stroller should not extend or interfere with the customer next to the family.
• There are no children, senior or military prices for any of the concerts.
• All seats, rows 3 and above, are metal bench seats with backs. Seat cushions are available at 2 locations: on ground level. Customers can leave these on the seats after the concert.
• There is ADA accessible seating with companion seating (on benches) on rows 1 and 2.
• Row 8 has the poles; it is a wider row but not a walkway.
• KSF has identified seats with an obstructed view and do not sell these seats without identifying them as such.
• Sound equipment is in Section E rows 16 – 20. Spotlights are in the last 3 rows of E and F.

Ramps

• Westside ramps, located in the carnival area, for entrance to the Grandstand are not ADA compliant. Only use this ramp if sitting in rows 15 or above.
• North and South entrances to the Grandstand have ramps that are ADA compliant and is the only way to get to the ADA seating in Rows 1 and 2. This includes mobility devices and customers that have difficulty walking up stairs.

Grandstand Entrances

• North and South entrances (through the vendor shopping area) are available for all ticket holders.
• VIP Entrance (located east of the South entrance) is for ticket holders with early access to the event.

Seating

• Track Floor seating: Enter the Grandstand from the south entrance. A wristband is issued for the Floor seating.
• Track Party Pit: This will replace the floor seating for many of the concerts. Wristbands are issued and staff do monitor access.
• VIP Deck (north and south side of VIP tables): These are standing areas and include 2 beverage coupons per person with appetizers and finger foods. Early access 30 minutes prior to opening through the VIP Entrance (southside of the Grandstand.) A lanyard will be issued that allows access to the Grandstand and VIP Deck, with two beverages embedded into the lanyard.
• VIP Deck Tables: There are 26 private tables that seat six. In addition to a reserved table for six 2 beverage coupons per person with appetizers and finger foods are included. Early access 30 minutes prior to opening through the VIP Entrance (southside of the Grandstand.).A lanyard will be issued that allows access to the Grandstand and VIP Deck, with two beverages embedded into the lanyard.
• ADA Seating: Accessible seating is available for purchase in the same methods as regular ticket purchases. Customers will use the Seating Chart to select these seats or can call the Ticket Office.
  • Exception, for general admission to the Demo Derby, these seats are monitored by the Ushers to ensure customers needing ADA seats can have them.

Parking for customers with disabilities is located just off Plum St in Public Parking Lot C – entrance is at Gate 9. This is the lot closest to the Grandstand. There is a second lot in Parking Lot C, closer to 23^rd near Gate 8. The 3^rd Parking Lot is off State Fair Rd and Gate 5 (enter from Main St.)

Mobility rentals are at Gates 5 and 9.

POLICIES

• Photographs may only be taken from seats; patrons may not go down front to take pictures. Only handheld cameras (non-professional). No video recording of any type.
• No smoking or vaping in the Grandstand seating areas. Smoking / vaping is permitted on the ground level on the south end, designated with signage.
• No bottles or glass containers. Food and drink purchases from elsewhere on the fairgrounds is allowed.
• Purses and bags may be checked depending on the artist request.
• Signs are allowed in some concerts but may not interfere with another person’s view. Must be under 24 x 36 and collapsible.
• Concert etiquette – Limit standing for extended periods of time to ensure persons behind you can see the concert.
