OPERATING HOURS AND STAFFING BOOTHS
Booth Set-Up
All exhibits must be fully set up and staffed by 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11,2026.
- Any space not occupied by this time will be reassigned by the Fair.
- Exhibitors who miss this deadline will forfeit all payments.
Staffing Requirements
Each exhibit must be staffed by at least one adult (18 years or older) during all published operating hours. Booths that are repeatedly left unattended, or exhibitors who open late or close early, are in violation of the Exhibitor Space Rental Agreement. Exhibitors who open late or close early will not be permitted to return the following year.

Building Access: Exhibitors may enter one (1) hour before opening and must exit within fifteen (15) minutes of closing. Entry at other times requires advance approval from the Building Manager.

- Sunflower North & South: east front or south doors
- Grandstand: north, south, or west center entrances
- Meadowlark: south side entrances (east or west)
- Pride of Kansas: southeast or west entrances
OUTSIDE EXHIBIT HOURS
General Outdoor Areas (excluding High Traffic/Pike):
- Friday, Sept. 11: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Sept. 12–19: 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
High Traffic/Pike Areas
(300–400 block of Pride of Kansas Ave.; 300 block of Ft. Riley Blvd.; 300–400 block of Bison Blvd.; 300–400 block of Grandstand Ave.; 300–400 block of Cottonwood Ave.)
- Friday, Sept. 11: 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Sept. 12–19: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Exhibits must remain open until at least the hours listed above, though exhibitors may stay open longer if traffic allows.
Food vendors may open earlier for breakfast service.
Food Exhibitors
Food vendors may begin operations prior to Friday, September 11, provided that arrangements are made in advance and utility fees are paid. Exhibitors planning to open early must contact the Fair Office no later than one week prior to their opening date. Gross sales made before September 11 must be reported in the “Post Fair” section on the Percentage Sheet and will need to be submitted at the same time as sales for September 11.
