yae is an indie-math, shred pop band based out of Wichita,
KS. Formed in 2021 by former The Cavves guitarist Mattea Bennett (guitar,
vocals) and former Yasmin Nur drummer JJ Mansolf, yae is an explosion of sounds
crafted from two people and four hands! Live shows consist of 70% rehearsed
material / 30% improvised songs. Dancey riffs, dreamy ambient loops, and
explosive tappy goodness. yae is vibes! Recent accolades include opening for A
Place to Bury Strangers, Strawberry Girls, and two support tours with Built to
Spill.
