The Hutchinson Brass Quintet is made up of members of the community who also play in other groups around Reno County. This five-piece brass group is made up of two trumpets, one French horn, one trombone, and one tuba. The members of the group are Greg Weis (1st trumpet) director of jazz studies and Hutchinson Community College; Daryl Koestel (2nd trumpet) director of bands at Hutchinson High School; Charles Johnston (French horn) executive director of Aging Products and is involved with theatre; Will Teufel (trombone) director of online studies at Sterling College; Dave Keller (tuba) owner of Keller Instrument Repair in Hutchinson.
