The country music artist began writing songs as early as nine years old. She says she drew inspiration from musicians like Emmylou Harris and Guy Clark.
“I was always focused more on words,” she said. “I think that lends to country because there’s so much storytelling involved.”
Stewart left the Carolinas 11 years ago for a move to Nashville. Over the last few years, Stewart gained clarity about her long-term ambitions,
